Liquid crystals are organic compounds composed of long rod-like molecules. In nature, the long axes of these rod-like molecules are roughly parallel. The first feature of LCDs is that they must fall between two recessed surfaces to function properly. The grooves of the two planes are perpendicular to each other (90 degree crossing) This means that if the molecules of one plane are aligned north-south, then the molecules of the other plane are aligned east-west, and the molecules between the two planes are forced to be 90 degrees twist. Light travels in the direction of the molecule, so when it passes through the liquid crystal, it is also twisted 90 degrees. But when a voltage is applied to the liquid crystal, the molecules are rearranged vertically so that light can be emitted directly without being twisted. The second feature of LCD is that it relies on polarizers and the light itself, which scatters randomly in all directions. A polarizer is actually a series of increasingly thin parallel lines. The lines form a grid that blocks all rays that are not parallel to them.
The polarization line is perpendicular to the first line, so it completely blocks polarized light. Light will only pass if the lines of the two filters are perfectly parallel, or if the light itself is twisted to match the second filter. Liquid crystal displays consist of two polarizing filters that are perpendicular to each other, so under normal circumstances any light trying to penetrate should be blocked. But because both filters are twisted liquid crystals, when light passes through the first filter and exits the second filter, the liquid crystal molecules twist the light by 90 degrees. On the other hand, if a voltage is applied to the liquid crystal, the molecules rearrange to be perfectly parallel so that the light is not distorted and blocked by the second filter. In short, energy blocks light, and no energy makes light disappear. Of course, you can also change the arrangement of the LCD display on the l-disk so that the lights are on the power supply, but not the power supply is blocked.
We focus on products in the field of optoelectronics, mainly selling Liquid Crystal Display, Liquid Crystal Display Module, Reflecting Liquid Crystal Display.
